History of Electronics @ELECTRO-GEN..

The history of electronics is a story of the 20th century and three key components: the vacuum tube, the transistor, and the integrated circuit. In 1883, Thomas Alva Edison discovered that electrons will flow from one metal conductor to another through a vacuum. This discovery of conduction became known as the Edison effect. In 1904, John Fleming applied the Edison effect in inventing a two-element electron tube called a diode, and Lee De Forest followed in 1906 with the three-element tube, the triode. These vacuum tubes were the devices that made manipulation of electrical energy possible so it could be amplified and transmitted.

  1. Today technology is ruling the world. Its impossible to imagine life without electronic gadgets.Imagine your favorite laptop worth of Rs.30,000/- just slipped of your table!!Everything is gone including the information contained in it!God created healing process in humanbeings, but the credit of healing technology in gadgets goes to man!Surprised?,but true.Yes,the innovative technology-BIOMIMITIC HEALING TECHNOLOGY made healing of gadgets possible. So far this technology is being used in the manufacture of polymers, paints etc.,but now research is going on it's implementation in manufacture of gadgets. When there is a scratch on gadget, chemical action takes place and a new layer grows on the scratch..So, no more scratches on our mobiles, cars or laptops.Lets all wish to use the technology very soon...since research is still going on ,I can't send you the web links..Interested candidates can gather much more information..M.Harshini

  2. Do you know...?? : A popular mith is that Watt took inspiration for building the steam from watching a bobbing kettle lid as a small boy; in fact, it was not Watt who invented steam engine at all,his key invention was the "seperate condenser" for the old steam engine while the first practical steam engine was the "atmospheric engine" developed by thomous newcomen a baptist lay preacher from britain.

  3. Do you know..?? : take a bow for the first man who counted all the 206 bones of human body for the first time!! he is Vesalius. He started his work as a 22-year old medical student, stealing a corpse he put it on his kitchen table and set about stripping it down to its bare bones! and painstakingly observed every single part of the human body.
